In Basel - city of trams - wondering why my home city of #Oxford can't have trams to solve its' transport problems. We just have a patchy bus service, huge queues on the ring road/northern entry roads from Oxon towns & it's increasingly impossible to cross the city. 😔
Not much to feel good about these days but saw my first #housemartins of the year today in sunny South Devon over the the Salcombe estuary. Bless them for returning & bringing hope.
Ours has been out for a few weeks - it's been a great season for magnolias.
We have the same problem with licking cream off spoons! Mojo the cat is obsessed with doing this but is always sick afterwards. 😔 Zero memory!
Wonder what the story is here? A black cat 🐈⬛ hangs around this door - next to Mansfield College - but is sadly banned from entering. He gets treats & strokes from passers by but only wants to get in the door! #CatsofOxford @oxfordclarion.bsky.social - worth investigating as part of cats in Oxford?

Spending time in Normandy at the American cemetery - 1000s of war graves. Feels so much more tragic knowing that the hard right are surging back in the US, UK and Europe.
Beautiful! I had a bonded pair Tolly & Harvey who were the sweetest friends and then 2 black kitten brothers Mojo and Coco. Sadly Coco died last year and Mojo misses him but we try to make it up to him!
Wonderful to see house martins nesting with chicks in the roofs of the main gates to Trinity & St John's Colleges in Cambridge today. The porters even seemed to welcome them and not mind the mess. 👏
