I find it interesting that some niche, painfully average, RPG’s come with so much extra free stuff in a Day 1 edition (not even a special/collectors edition) but super rich multi million dollar corporations can’t be asked to print a disc for a physical release that likely costs them 50ct to make.
Boxarts like these make me wish every game had reversible covers with the age ratings removed LOL

Adding Augments in Phantasy Star Nova also alters the weapons appearance. Kind of a shame this system wasn't been used in any other Phantasy Star game. More weapon customization would've gone a long way
One of the few games I bought my PS Vita for back in the day, Phantasy Star Nova! Sony would’ve sold glorbillion units if they helped localizing some of these Japanese exclusives.
I miss when consoles had personality like that. Theme based on original V-Pets playing the File City Night Theme~ This theme was either a first print bonus for getting Digimon World Next 0rder or was downloadable on the PSN, I don’t remember exactly.
Some games still do that. Bravely default used the frontal Camera on the final boss but the Switch port used the profile picture instead so we get Rowlet staring from out of the abyss during the final bossfight
I tried the Switch 2's GameShare feature today (local) with the Starfox Remake and honestly this might be the best implementation of "Download Play" Nintendo has ever done. No downloads required, the Switch 2 simply streams the screen of other Players on Switch 1 and Switch 2 consoles.

Picked up some physical games out of spite for Sony ditching them entirely. FFVII being game key card isn’t ideal but at least the ability to resell later down the line still exists and my shelve is gonna look nicer~
I see people say Xbox should recreate the famous dig Sony did a decade ago as if Xbox wasn’t trying to get rid of physical media this whole time.

#PSO2_NGS ’s 2026 roadmap is such a improvement over 2025’s. After the absolute drought of Chapter 7 being stretched over 2 years it feels unreal seeing three full chapters of story on a single roadmap.
