Seismic shifts in the world's shell have rippled all over its surface, and in the span of a week human society was brought to its knees by earthquakes, eruptions, tsunamis, and every other raw form of natural wrath. Humanity, its history, its fiction, and its ideals - everything we are is in chaos. Beings that we consigned to books of myth and literature crawled out of the broken earth to wander. This is the end. People will struggle right until the final moment, but that final threshold fast approaches, and the Void waits on the other side. My inspiration to start was actually @dilfosaur.bsky.social ! In a video, she made block printing look like something a person really could just pick up and learn, and I was completely enchanted. It's my favorite medium now, so thanks Karina!

As for how my tarot deck is going, I finished the Ten of Cups today! I like how it came out. It has a "tell me everything" vibe, like the figure is a good listener. Maybe this is a date or a catch-up coffee between old friends.

I've done my carve and my paint layer! After this dries, I make a solid black print on top of the watercolors.
