It's been a treat watching Ron Wotus as third base coach for a few days. Wish he could stay.
Our cat is a girl and we would never accept a new housemate without her approval. She is our little orange darling.
NASA's Artemis II mission has captured some of the most amazing photos we earthlings have ever seen.
Dom and Yaz together again, in Atlanta, scoring runs and hitting grand slams. I am henceforth living on Georgia time.
My heart belongs to Autumn but Spring can be rather dazzling. Vernal Equinox Table Mountain California
This is my darling Mugs. I love her deeply and we spend a lot of time snuggling and cuddling. Evenso, I miss Mr. Brown. That face, that personality, that voice so suited to Broadway show tunes. What a guy! With or without chompers he stole my heart.
Good luck in Atlanta, Dom. I loved having you in San Francisco and I will miss you FOREVER. You are everything a ball player should be both on and off the field. #DominicSmith
Last night, feeling like my head might explode while pondering current and quite dreadful events, I opted to take a mental health break by rewatching Matt Cain's perfect game. We always knew Matty was perfect and on June 13, 2012 he proved it to the world. Special thanks to Gregor Blanco.
Christmas Eve! Tonight, once again, I shall go to bed hoping to be awakened by a trio of ghosts and spirits who will bestow on me the gift of transformation by Christmas morning.
I'm grateful for the warm sunny days we're enjoying as many families, including mine, begin gathering for Thanksgiving. Gatherings large or small, with family and friends, or in quiet solitude, I hope all can find reasons to be thankful. Artwork by Ohara Koson
October days are unbearably sweet. Blue skies highlight yellow, red, and orange leaves. The sweetest birdsongs I hear are in the fall. With winter on the horizon, I am savoring autumn. I wonder how many more Octobers I will fortunate enough to experience.
Speaking of All Stars, here's Madison Bumgarner pitching, because Bluesky needs more MadBum. Bum also hit 19 home runs which is rather a lot for a pitcher. Photo from NBCSports.
Look, Flanoy. It's the me. My first time on the merry-go-round with my mama.
Well yeah, Oracle is the best! Some others are beautiful but Oracle has unbeatable views - Pacific Ocean is better than skyscrapers. The stadium tour is excellent and they take you to the top for the best views of all. They may let you in the Giants' dugout.
