My mom asked me if I saw the branch that broke off the tree & I'm clueless because I haven't been outside yet (too hot). Oh 😱👀 damn. It didn't storm & the wind was very mild.

Bill modeling a little #WhiskerWednesday why are some of his whiskers black? Is that like the pigment some cats have around their eyes, or on their tie beans?

After I disturbed a large & handsome possum rifling through the porch (he hid before I could get a picture), I found this other lil guy searching the same spot for noms 😹 #HedgeWatch

I got a picture of Kammy today when she was raiding our porch. She might be a beagle or beagle mix, but I'm pretty sure her detection abilities are solely food related 😹

This is not my dog 😹 She sneaks out of her fenced in yard & goes around eating at all the neighbors' houses. You cannot pull her away from the cat food. She's so greedy she hasn't shown her doggy sibling how to break free & raid the neighbors with her 😹😹😹 #Hedgewatch

I do take a lot of pictures of my non furry child (we ran out of wall space to put them in our old place) but I don't share those in public very often. The furry kids also sit still & don't pick their nose for the camera lol. I call this one "She's right behind me" & "it's my spot now"

Oh good, my union rep is here to make me take a break. Half the roof is up. I shouldn't have tightened everything before starting this step, I need to loosen up the screws so that I can adjust the parts into perfect alignment, sigh, I learned this when doing the doors earlier. #HedgeWatch

There's no Menards near me, & all 4 hardware stores are similarly priced. I was just shocked at how much inflation had driven up the price since the last time I needed fasteners a few years ago. These have a tiny body & fat head, shown next to the 1/2" #6, the smallest sheet metal screw they had.
