This was a LOT of fun. I admit it. I bought BORED GAY WEREWOLF for the title alone and in my year of trying not to buy new books and reading my shelf, absolutely loved it. Plenty of laughs. A hot mess at its centre. Big feels. A cosy monster mash full of heart. Nicely played, Tony Santorella.
I haven’t been able to make it to the fiesta this year, but there’s nothing as brilliant as waking up and seeing the sky full of balloons. I bloomin’ love Bristol!

Out today from Audible! STAR WARS MISSION STORIES: HAN & CHEWIE, narrated by Ron Butler! It’s the canon path from my first Choose Your Own Adventure-inspired Star Wars gamebooks that I wrote back in 2018. I love the fact that those stories are getting a new outing! Punch it!
Just back from watching The ODYSSEY. Loved every slow burn, beautiful moment. This line summed it all up for me. A lesson we should never forget. Don’t look for gods in men. And, just as importantly, don’t set yourself up as a god. You’ll fall.

Rhodey was Shell Head at the time, of course, but I soon met Tony as Secret Wars weekly started reprinting Secret Wars II. I still picture the Silver Centurion armour when I think of the character. An absolute thrill to add a small thread to one of my favourite characters!
Just had my Age of Revelation Overture comp arrive, featuring Iron & Frost by me and the great @colemancomicart.bsky.social Thanks to editor Danny for asking me to do this one. After being introduced to him in Secret Wars, I was obsessed with Iron Man when I was a kid.
What an amazing way to celebrate the solstice. Wakefire by Lady Maisery, Jimmy Aldridge and Sid Goldsmith was an absolute joy. “We stand and we watch as the sun stand still Breathe in the warmth of the longest day. Hoping and singing the evening away.”

Sad to hear the news of Michael Keating. Working with Michael was one of the highlights of writing and producing BLAKE’S 7 for Big Finish. Kind, generous and a complete gentleman. RIP Michael. You were one of my heroes growing up & it was an honour to come to know you in later years. Maximum Power.
