Orpheus ripped a chunk of his dewclaw off and I want to trim it back so he doesn’t hurt himself further. Unfortunately he is too baby to allow me to do this.

Fourth grade dream realized!! We visited the Serpent Mound today!! (Context: Fourth grade social studies curriculum in Ohio is Ohio history)

“I had this incredibly bizarre dream last night in which I killed Osama bin Laden. His girlfriend (it didn’t occur to dream-me that he had multiple wives) then shot me in the heart, and I went home (to the USA?) and very calmly asked my dad to drive me to the hospital. I was very specific that it had to be a “volunteer hospital” because no one in Afghanistan could know that bin Laden was dead. It was a super-secret mission.”

There’s a chance that the area around the lymph node could abscess as it heals up so we are on a course of antibiotics and we will be keeping a close eye on him. Big sigh of relief that she doesn’t think it’s lymphoma at this time!!
