Chuck's Hop Shop in #seattle, 16th anniversary. Cheers to making it this far. Thai Lay's Max, extra ridged ghost pepper extra chili. Mild enough on chip 1 you wonder what the fuss is 1, hot enough halfway through the bag you understand.
There's a sight to see, freshly published in time for #PerfNow. Talk by @tunetheweb.com , an excellent walkthrough on how to get the most out of a truly powerful tool www.etsy.com/codeascraft/...
If there's not issues serving a one-off bottle for an event, I have a fun tea-related rarity that might be of interest: De Garde Brewing, The Qi blend 1 Spontaneous wild ale aged for 2 years in oak barrels with 47-year Pu'er tea leaves
Approximate-birthday fare: Filipino fried chicken, mixed pickled vegetables, garlic fried rice, coconut collard greens, monggo beans & rice, pancit noodles, dipping vinegar & hot sauce (from a local shop) & then a raspberry lambic chai jam bun with pearl sugar & cream cheese frosting (self-made)
Mapo tofu refried beans & Sichuan queso. This one came to me in a dream. Worked well with chips, would do well over rice. Did well with some sour cream & guacamole; would also take to some pickled onions or jalapenos readily.
Not quite the same process, but I recently got my first taste of it at a city park glass studio, making glass otters! I was reminded of your threads about your experiences throughout
I was lucky enough to be interviewed by #webperf community icon @henrihelvetica.bsky.social at #PerfNow 2024. What a whirlwind conference, it's always energizing to be around this many people interested in beating back the tide of webpage bloat & inaccessible sites
They aren't kidding calling #perfnow 'the church of performance'; beautiful venue
