part of a series i'm working on titled, Permission..

Doomscrolling is out. Bloomscrolling is in.

been a minute since i've participated in a selfie thread...

Sunday afternoon sketching.....

i've been feeling a bit more inspired lately...

taking a walk through the garden....

chickens have a way of reintroducing wonder into otherwise ordinary days...

spilled some cracked corn and the freeranging chickens immediately went to work.
there's nothing wasted on the farm...

i was trying to take an artistic shot of this bee by the lavender but it decided i was doing too much...

just received some exciting news:

okay, i think i'm at a place where i can let this sit....

the art and the medium:
(not quite finished yet)

hibiscus, roses, and gardenias...a few of my favorites

more updates from the garden:

having a relaxing Juneteenth, grocery shopping in the garden

found some more of my old artwork:

did some cleaning and found some of my old sketches:

i'm known to dabble in the art world every now and then....

it's the busy season for sure. furnished some raised beds, incorporated polyculturalist crops, been working on other projects and properties, just had some goat babies, cats, and essentially been keeping everything together and alive the past couple months.
had some more variety in chickens too.

witnessed yet another birth this morning.
the mother is Belgian Malinois and the father is German Shepherd/Husky mix
never a dull moment on the farm..

oh yeah i got two of them now, both Tortoiseshell Tabbies
they're sisters

never thought i'd be a cat person...

lillies blooming during the thunderstorms....

about to initiate the Free Breakfast Program for the animals...

can't have dehydrated animals in this Georgia weather...

good morning.
starting off my day with some goat-sitting.
the little one was under the weather the past few days, so i'm making sure he's good before i return him to his mother.
