She's told by those around her that they don't fit her though, and that she shouldn't wear those outfits. Mizuki is there the whole time... hearing, thinking, and projecting on to these experiences. She's being put directly in the position of relating to and being affiliated with another woman in a way that kinda... explicitly highlights her trans-ness. The thing is that it's also highlighting it as an experience that's shared among women because the one who approaches the woman and does get her to try on said dress is Mizuki's sister. She takes on the responsibility of communicating her and Mizuki's shared experience with "cuteness" to this woman, and by proxy let's Mizuki experience a shared sense of femininity and through that her own sense of being a woman!

The other day I was playing Nightrang with a friend and my wife. She called out for me to grab a weapon she'd dropped, Siluria's Tree (pictured below), and my only response before sprinting to grab it was "I know it's big" to utter silence. Anyways the point is that I'm right, her tree is big.
