Shiloh (a tiefling with purple scales and brown hair pulled back into a ponytail) tenderly touches Ethel (a warforged with short red hair and doll-like joints) across her face with her prosthetic arm. Ethel's hands are held high above her with thin strings, as if she is a puppet. Shiloh's two magic knives can be seen cutting one of her arms free, while her other arm is slung across Ethel's shoulder. Shiloh's face is tender with guilt as Ethel stares down at her. They stand in front of a gothic window with red tiled glass. There is a dragon skull in the top left corner with a translucent blue snake coiled around it, and candles with blue flame on the bottom right. Green ivy climbs all across the frame of the window.

Shiloh is mine. Ethel belongs to Ridaine.

It's my birthday today! 🎉 I've been enjoying black/gold art lately. A little share today of some of them would be cool. c:

Shiloh curls around Ethel protectively, her psionic daggers in each hand. She looks up at the viewer defiantly, and her tail curls around one of Ethel's arms.

'Swan Song'

A burnette woman in a red and purple dress with sunset-colored wings (Chari) is bent back tenderly by another woman in dark clothing (Eclair.) Her long light hair spills down toward Chari's face as Chari gingerly wipes a tear from Eclair's eye. Eclair is in a state of partial transformation, with dark wings, fur, and clawed hands. There is a swirling dark sky with a red moon and stars above them, and a golden star peaking through violent dark clouds below them.

'Smoke and Mirrors'

A man in white clothing and a golden sash with short blonde hair (Morion) lovingly reaches out to Chari. Her face is tipped back away from him. Eclair is hovering over his shoulder with a clawed hand wrapped around his arm. The background is split diagonally with one space filled with a sunburst of many bright golden wings and the bottom half a swirl of white cloudy symbols.

'Liminal'

Chari is being tipped back in the clutches of a large dark creature. The creature has the body of a wolf with the talons, beak, and wings of a raven. The background is a dark sky of stars with a gold and white border of clouds, a sunburst, and constellations.

'Skin Of The Night'

Eclair has a clawed hand underneath Chari's chin, turning her head up to hold her gaze. Her other clawed hand grasping Chari's. Eclair's expression seems playful. The backdrop is a swirl of bright blue, pink, red, white, and yellow. Almost flame-like in appearance. There is an even row of gold stars along the top and bottom.

A monster girl with short brown hair and long twisting gold antlers sits peacefully as black and gold butterflies fly around her. She has the ears, tail, and hooves of a deer. Her wings and dark scaled hands are bird-like, and her body is covered in brown feathers. She has star-shaped markings and freckles. She is covered in a simple robe wearing lots of golden bangles. Butterflies rest gently on her clawed hands.

She is bordered by a background of lily of the valley flowers twisting around each other in golden leaves and vines. Her antlers are haloed by a sun with a warm forest scene behind her.

This version of my sona is inspired by the wolpertinger. A folklore creature that is often described as being part rabbit, deer, and pheasant. They are said to reveal themselves only to maidens, deep into the forest on a full moon.

I like drawing my sona as different creatures and the wolpertinger felt like the most 'springtime' creature to me.
