Poor Flatwoods monster, you have other cryptids like Jersey Devil, Chupacabra and even Skunk Ape out there looking like potentially real beasts whereas you come across like a Persona enemy made 44 years too early.
Dark Souls 2, while feeling the most 'video game-y' of the trilogy with levels/areas that felt far more distinct (if less connected), had more replays from me than either of the other titles. Likewise, the community-driven arenas were a blast with all the different, creative builds.
What's great about those two is that is absolutely is in-character for them to pull this shit. Like, I would be bothered if neither Doom nor Kang tried something like that in a storyline. They are the two pettiest bitches in Marvel comics and that is why I adore them.
Not going to lie, I could unironically see Nyanners do this and then take a planned vacation during her inevitable 3-day ban from Twitch. Her birthday stream a few weeks ago involved creating a 'homunculus' with chat's input and then sending it to hell. It was a weird 30 minute stream.
I found the optimal setup: my mom, sister and I all live within 5 minutes from one another so I get the joy of babysitting everyone’s dogs on weekends (and sometimes weekdays when one is on vacation). This way I don’t feel guilty being in an office all day and don’t have to worry about vet bills.
One would think they don’t eat throughout the day with the amount of pathetic begging they do (for a single bagel).
Oh thank god, the sound of it raining outside put them to sleep. I can finally get work done.
Frank’s ability to be perpetually in the way during any workout routine is astounding.
Feeling ya. I am currently juggling a literal fuck-ton of client chaos along with managing two different pieces of software and over a dozen employees across 8 projects. All this while babysitting my sister's goldens who I feel horrible for because they're bored and I'm not throwing the tennis ball.
The goldens have been here for 45 minutes and already slimed my house with their spit and water trails. They’re lucky they’re huggable.
I skipped my high school prom because of my guild's Molten Core raid (I needed pauldrons for my shaman). I regret nothing, but I absolutely lucked out in losing interest right before college hit. I have an addictive personality and saw a dark future. Regardless, I replaced it with a LoL addiction.
You have an embarrassment of bird riches in your area. Here in Cleveland we only have the defaults (robins, cardinals, red-winged blackbirds, etc.). I honestly think the only neat bird we have is the pileated woodpecker, and I only know that as these giants have taken down three trees in my backyard
I was exhausted from wrangling my nieces and nephew at a giant gaming/toy store — and there were only three of them. Either pay teachers more or make classes smaller.
I feel empty now that I’ve caught up with the Daemons of the Shadow Realm manga. It’s so refreshing to read a series where everyone, even the comic relief, has both common sense and is competent at their jobs. It really breaks away from a lot of genre tropes because of this.
Frank silently puts up with three annoying children and he, too, would like to try cake.
Some coworkers were having a discussion about comic books and, knowing I read them, asked me to explain the Absolute Universe from DC. I don't think they were ready for my excited, novel-length description beginning with, 'Well Darkseid decided to lop off his hand and throw it in a black hole...'
God I have grown to hate the old Ork Warbikers kit. Nothing likes to fit perfectly, there are a two dozen pieces that overlap one another making painting a pain to reach, and just so much extra detail. I loathe that my very nature makes it so I can’t half-ass anything — even this ancient model.
People like the contrast Punisher and Daredevil for the religious/moral angle, but Frank and Spider-Man is the ultimate: all criminals must die versus *no one* dies. That and Spidey is a top-tier beast who has no problem screwing with a street-level like Punisher.
'Oblivion' by Grimes came on the radio and it's taking everything in my power not to turn the channel because even after all her shenanigans with a *certain* individual, goddamn the song is still a blast.
Birds giving zero shits that my bird feeder is spinning during a wind storm.
The dumb setup I need to do when a bird builds a nest underneath my backyard stairs while I regularly babysit a beagle and two golden retrievers. Bird is just begging for three hunting dogs to become fixated on its babies.
X-Men ‘97 continuing to be exclusively made by people of a certain age and fandom.
Watched the Knicks win while wrapping up an incredibly tedious miniature. One more to go and I am free from this ancient set and its weird build requirements. #warhammercommunity #warhammer40k
