There is some comfort, at least, that he's still watching me in the bathroom when I go to the bathroom. I'm going to go look for photo printing machines to get some photos of him printed and framed to keep on my desk.
I had some warm chicken porridge. I don't consume alcohol, so tea will have to do. His memory will always be like chicken porridge. White like him, but warm and comforting, nostalgic and feels like home. A small toast to his life, and to celebrate him the way he deserves to be remembered.
It's been a few hours without him. I've been trying to process it. Between the grief, the knowledge that he wouldn't want me to cry, and the emptiness of not being able to see him anymore, reminiscing about him with my loved ones, I'm doing okay.
I have so many pictures of him just looking at me. I guess in hindsight, he was probably worried about me. I'd catch him staring at me constantly until I responded or reacted to him. Now I know that was his way of showing his love.
He had so much personality in him. He was expressive, his face was so humanlike in emotion at times. I will miss waking up to him yelling at me to get up.
He had nothing but love and affection in his eyes. He was a silly little guy that made me smile during the hardest times, through my diagnosis and my journey to adapting to my diagnosis, through breakups, friendship breaks, and meeting the love of my life.
I think you would've liked this place, Coby. It's got birds, water, sunshine, a cool breeze, and lots of shade. I'll come back when I can and bring you flowers.

I added a tracker so I can remember how much money he's got + thank everyone when I can! his money is his money- I will endeavor to track spending/cash flow so you know the money is going to him!
