Who says researching legal history isn't fun. Seems Canadian government in ye olden times, pre-WW2, viewed female murderers or those who attempted murder as getting "carried away" or due to "outbreak of long pent up emotion".

Yay! That's great. Decompression sometimes takes more than 3 months before they start feeling safe & trust that they won't be abandoned & then they start showing their personality. Brought Jonas-Hugo home in August. It took 4 months for him to understand he's got a human to care for him for life.

Made Christmas Cookies to gift. It's one of my favorite #Christmas traditions. However my mother would use those blue Danish Butter Cookie tins, I opt for a recyclable packaging. Although I swear those tins were circulating for decades.
