"I'll Be Seeing You" was the song I quoted in 2015 at the memorial for my late husband Larry. "I'll be looking at the moon, but I'll be seeing you". Every time I see the moon I feel hm around me all over again. Looking forward to hearing it tomorrow, with plenty of tissues handy.

I was very lucky with both parents, had a little trouble with my being gay, but eventually saw that I wasn't " broken" and didn't need fixing or changing - just acceptance & support.
Whenever you feel you can be ready - we are informal here and work with our guest's needs. Something I learned from my mother, who loved everybody and showed it by feeding them.

Thanks for trying. I'm still wandering through the house doing small chores while muttering to myself about whether I even want to talk to or see anybody over the holidays. I think I'll leave my monsters up...they seem saner that our governing representatives right now.

There are monsters and monsters. The Halloween/horror creatures exist to entertain, ignite our imaginations, and scare us with old legends and superstitions. The real monsters look human, but stride through the world satisfying only their own selfish cruel appetites. I prefer the former type myself.
