I also don’t like that it has multiple routes but seemingly has one joined true ending sort of thing going on. All the endings in Three Houses feeling sort of hollow because you literally had to murder half the cast to get there was a really nice thing.

This new one unfortunately seems to be much more of a traditional we need to kill the evil god because it’s evil will kill everyone sort of story. Which is FINE but I will be extremely surprised if the story is as good (or if it’s even written by the same people)

I liked Fire Emblem Three Houses’s story a lot because it was a very character driven story where basically everything revolved around the ideological differences between characters and you could play all the perspectives to understand why everyone thought differently about the conflict.
