It’s my birthday today! Yay! I’m in Birmingham celebrating or commiserating, not sure which. In the purity bar drinking my favourite British beer UBU 4.5%
Out for Sunday lunch at the Fox and Goose, Foxt. Was lovely as usual.
It Mum & Pas wedding anniversary today so we are out at Mellards, Newcastle for a few beers. They are going for a curry later whilst I’m heading home for a takeaway and watch the footy. Drinking The Kernal Beer, ordinary beer 4.2%
Congratulations to Club Brugge! for winning the title. Just watched the game. Nail biting finish with 4 mins of time still being played in the other game. Won’t be over for the celebrations this year but here’s a few photos from 2024.

Too may Bishops farewells last night. Was a good night and went chippy half way through and ate them in the Fat Cat. Drinking Anglo Saxon Amber ale in the St Andrews brew house. Back home in Stoke tomorrow.
In Norwich. In The Fat Cat staring with a Oakham ale Bishops farewell Did it by public transport. Started with a bus to Stoke. Haled it down and was just waiting for it to stop when a girl asked what time her bus was due being kind turned to look at timetable & bus went straight passed. Got a taxi
F*ckin hot today so staying inside mainly watching the snooker. Mum and Pa are drinking Delirium in the garden sunbathing ☀️ so keeping an eye on them as well in case they have too much……to much beer not sun.

In Woerden for Pa’s Birthday (63). In a bar that has a good selection of Belgium 🇧🇪 beers, Drinkerij ‘t Bierhuys. Accompanied with some young cheese 🧀
