Finally playing Battle Brothers and I am SHOCKED AND APPALLED by the lack of Berserk mods
Dude got drafted during WWII, lost an arm, learned to draw with his other arm, spent the rest of his life drawing weird little guys, slept 10 hours a day, died at 93. Absolute legend.
Anyway Jason best character, Eric deserved better than Sookie, Lafayette deserved to become a cool vampire, and rip Queen Sophie you fabulous girlie, you deserved better too. These are my cold True Blood takes.
Last year I rewatched True Blood and started keeping track of scenes including a murder, gratuitous sex, or Jason Stackhouse being shirtless for no reason. I now offer you this trove of data
Sometimes Swedish is a completely incomprehensible language, and sometimes it's this
This is a disingenuous take by someone who fundamentally misunderstands how fandom work. A unique AI generated creature cannot be shared nor reproduced. Any love the player feels for them cannot be spread. Fan work cannot be appreciated by others, because they won't care.
I tried some makeup for the first time in a decade today and got told I looked "like a sickly Victorian dandy" life goals?
And I'd argue that replacing half of the party members with entirely different ones wouldn't impact the story, either. Sciel and Lune really suffer from this. I don't want to post spoilers, but if you already played the game... do read Sciel's wiki page: clair-obscur.fandom.com/wiki/Sciel
This colorful fantasy continent could be replaced for an entirety different fantasy continent, with zero repercussions on the story. The journey doesn't change these characters or make them grow.
YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH A WATER-THEMED DUNGEON RIGHT BEFORE RECRUITING SAID CHARACTER
BECAUSE THE ENTIRE GAME IS ABOUT TRAVELING THROUGH HUGE BODIES OF WATER
Seeing people describe Expedition 33 as this great pinnacle of videogame writing makes me feel insane. Here is a small thread/rant on why I don't think it particularly succeedes om that front:
Interesting new trend I am noticing in the gacha space: preorders. Pay a couple bucks, get a copy of the new character without needing to gamble (plus some bonus pulls, usually). It's a new format, so prices vary wildly - I've seen games do preorders from 30£ to 90£
Halp. They have finally discovered if they stop squabbling, they can *both* get human affection at the same time. I am never getting up again
They laughed at you, Barcode Kanojo, but you were something magical
The entire first arc of Gundam Witch From Mercury is also... just Utena...
If you ask me tomorrow I am gonna give you an entirely different list
I need to hug her like a baby when sitting on the sofa, it's the rules
In terms of vibes it vaguely reminds me of The World God Only Knows, another title with a sketchy premise where you'd expect the protagonist to builds a harem but he ends up respectfully helping all his love interests instead
It would have been SO EASY to turn this premise into a sleazy harem manga, but instead it's a show about how you shouldn't objectify women?! There is even explicit queer rep?? In a shounen jump title???
I know everyone is loving Witch Hat Atelier, but my unexpected bop of the season is Marriagetoxin. Socially awkward poison master hires a crossdressing marriage swindler to help him get a wife. It's 50% ridiculous shounen fights, 50% watching a human disaster learning to talk respectfully to women
