"Les Mondes Engloutis". This should have been about a decade of graphic novel
"Swordsman II" aka "Legend of the Swordsman" aka "笑傲江湖之東方不敗" (1992, dir. Ching Siu-Tung) It's got some gender in it and you don't necessarily have to have seen the first one to watch it
I'm reminded of that one Miley Cyrus music video from the mid-10s
Pick a Bond villain from the photos you already have on your phone
Phoebe Waller-Bridge doing a masc look. James Bond is still a man, but Phoebe Waller-Bridge should be the actor
Smolder finally giving herself permission to be high femme, despite societal expectations that she not do that, was important to me. Also, I want that dress.
"The Animation Show" 2005 edition will always hold a special place for me. I saw it at the old Magic Lantern Theater in Isla Vista and Don Hertzfeldt was there to premiere his then new "Meaning of Life" cartoon
"The Perfect Host" (2010, dir. Nicholas Tomnay) A dark comedy psychological thriller; if you watch it, I'd recommend avoiding spoilers
"Doomsday Prophecy" (2011, dir. Jason Bourque) This movie was released to get in on some of that Mayan Calendar stuff from 2012. It's not very good. Jewel Staite is in it though; that's roughly 100% of why I watched it
"The Dress Code" (2000 dir. Shirley MacLaine) I wanted to like this movie, I really did. It's about a boy who wants to wear dresses and his dad and grandmother's generational hang-ups about effeminacy. The story feels so frustratingly opposed to having stakes though
"It Conquered the World" (1956, dir. Roger Corman) It's what American International Pictures was getting up to before their party at beach party beach stuff happened
If you see this I implore you to post a picture from whatever device you're using without explanation
I don't know if the cover of World Party's "Goodbye Jumbo" is my favorite, but it's up there. Building an elephant costume around an old gas mask is pretty clever.
Ah, I remember that AltaVista look I got a Hotmail account during their second logo era. I still have one even though I feel like I almost never see hotmail accounts anymore, or even their successor "live" which happened after Microsoft bought them
If he's got an ideal customer for all this now, said customer probably looks like this
