Non-Chicago-related work: I worked with Herb Lester Associates to create the Sherlock Holmes' Guide to London! This guide covers almost 50 locations that played a role in Sherlock Holmes stories. One side has info about each location, the other side has a map of London and the surrounding areas.

I found myself in Elmhurst for the first time in my life today, and I saw there was a FLW home close to where I was, so I had to stop by and see it. This is the F. B. Henderson House at 301 S. Kenilworth.

I love maps, and was pumped when the @chicagoreader.com reached out to me to create a "Broke Day Trip" map for the July issue! A few Easter eggs: The Blues Brothers playing on the drive-in screen, my friends Jon and Jamie and their dog at Miller Beach, and my son's handwriting for the word "map."
Either AI...or someone not from here who looked at a Google map and saw this and wrote it. But probably AI. Sidenote, the super old neighborhood/area names like "Bricktown" that appear on Google maps are always so puzzling to me.
Yesssss. I had the honor of creating the graphics for this year's Square Roots Festival! It is definitely one of the top fests in the city every year, so I was pumped when they reached out to collaborate. See ya there in July!
One positive thing about the USPS taking 4+ weeks to (still not) deliver shipments? You can hand deliver them to homes like this and get offered a tour by the owner. Wowowow. What a stunner. 😍
I forgot to mention this when I saw you today: it reminds me of an elbow diagram! That's what I thought it was when I first saw your pic...because why wouldn't there be an architectural artifact shaped like a medical diagram, right?

Preservation Chicago just announced the 2026 edition of their Chicago 7 Most Endangered list, and just like every year since 2017, I created some art for them featuring one of the places on the list. This year's art features the Chicago Stock Exchange Trading Room that is at the Art Institute.
