Fun to see a protuberance disconnected from the sun. Also my ellipse fitting for live stacking appears to have survived the worst
An inner city location is not ideal for observing meteor showers but caught myself a bright #Perseid here. The meteor appears in a single 1 sec exposure of a small sensor planetary cam with a 4.5 mm CCTV lens. The image is a maximum stack of 21 frames to reduce background noise. #astrophotography
There's a nation-wide network of cycling routes and a checkpoint numbering system that makes it easy to plan and navigate

Tracked #Jupiter down to an unreasonable 14° altitude just because I wanted to capture Europa leaving the disk and got caught off guard by another shadow entering, this time of outermost moon Callisto far "off screen" to the upper left.
