I continue to work behind-the-scenes on a dream biz-focused comics panel I want to do at NYCC. I'm on year 3 of trying to make it happen. I have the space + host + marketing. Just looking for the right company willing to do it. (1/2)
Marvel Comics' first secretary was the late Flo Steinberg. In doing research for a project, I found her weekly pay in 1963. Adjusted for inflation, Flo Steinberg made $36,714 annually. By her and Lee's account, she was the second Marvel editorial staffer at the time, after Lee himself as EiC.
Hello mutuals. It's April, so of course I'm planning already for New York Comic Con in October. For no reason (but a lot of reasons), let me know if you plan on being at NYCC - including if you'll be there for Retailer Day.
My Popverse team and I are working on two unannounced projects for ReedPop's Bookcon next week. We'll be in NYC Thursday, April 16 through Monday, April 20. Come find us (or reach out)!
May we all have the energy Michael Rooker had during the Guardians of the Galaxy reunion panel at ReedPop's Emerald City Comic Con this past weekend. 1/??
I've already started work on March's #ComicJobs post for @popversesays.bsky.social. If you have a lead, let me know in the comments (post below).
I will be in LA February 16 - 21 for business, including the COMICSPRO Annual Meeting. If there's anyone who'd like to meet to talk collabs personally or professionally, let me know as I fill up my schedule.

I am just a few sleeps away from being in New York City for ReedPop's New York Comic Con. The two things I'm excited about: (1/3)
This is my confidence level for NYCC over the past couple weeks. Sometimes I'm Finn Balor, sometimes I'm Keith Lee. Currently feeling Keith Lee.
That moment when you realize you created the roadblock for yourself, and you don't actually have to ask permission to do what you really want to do. (Art by the late Gerry Alanguilan, from Elmer)
I am firming up my schedule for my first comic con of the year: C2E2. I've got some panels, some meetings, and a lot of work. Who will I be seeing there?
