Jenny set up the Lucy Rayner Foundation in her daughter’s name after she died by suicide aged 22, having not received the right mental health support. Today, it supports thousands of young people, bridging the gap in mental health services before things reach crisis point.

The recent business rates cut for some businesses is welcome but many are still being badly hurt by the rise in employer National Insurance Contributions so I have written to Andy Burnham. 2/2

The cost of fish has tripled in the last two years for Marinos Fish Bar in Dorking. On top of other rising costs, Nick, the owner, told me small businesses are struggling to break even. I speak to lots of businesses like Nick’s, who say the government don’t do enough to support them. 1/2

SES have replied to my letter asking why some vulnerable residents weren’t delivered bottled water following the water outages in Horley - they have an ongoing review into this. I’m glad they fixed the issue quickly and continued to monitor their response throughout the outage. 1/2

I spoke to BBC Radio Surrey about Southern's decision to remove the bins at Box Hill & Westhumble station because of new recycling laws. It's a busy station with lots of tourists so littering has inevitably increased. I've asked Southern to put in fixed recycling bins like SWR.

I spoke to BBC South East about the water outages over the weekend. Thankfully, it seems this incident is a one off but I have written to SES Water after reports of some vulnerable people not receiving bottled water.

Surrey County Council have responded to reports that they have not yet secured numerous families and providers with Alternative Provision or EOTAS for the coming academic year. 1/2

I’m grateful SES fixed the water outages in Horley within 24 hours. However, some vulnerable residents say they weren’t contacted about bottled water deliveries. I have written to SES asking why and whether their contingency plans worked as intended.

Numerous families have reported that Surrey County Council have failed to secure their child’s Alternative Provision or EOTAS for the next academic year. In some cases, concerns have been raised for months, often with no direct communication. 1/2

Litter was building up at Box Hill & Westhumble station after Southern took away the bins as part of new government recycling regulations. I raised concerns alongside residents and Southern have now increased staff to carry out more cleaning. 1/2

Earlier this year, the government committed to reviewing and reforming this law, so I have written to them, alongside these three mothers, calling on them to make time for a second reading of Christopher’s law, which realises this commitment. 2/2

Yesterday I spoke during the debate of the Hillsborough Law, which would create a legal duty on public bodies to tell the truth. The government is finally listening to Hillsborough victim’s families. It is galling that there continues to be a conspiracy of silence on SEND misconduct. 1/3

Hannah Byrne tragically died three years ago whilst on holiday in Corfu. This week, an inquest was delayed for a sixth time, and the Greek authorities have still not concluded their investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death. 1/2

Three years ago, my 22-year old constituent Hannah Byrne, died on the first night of her holiday in Corfu. Two British women left the scene without being interviewed by police. 1/2

I hope that when Surrey County Council temporarily shut the junction for pavement improvements soon that the developer consortium put in appropriate safety measures. I have written repeatedly to the council, consortium and police but I will be writing to them yet again. 2/2

Sadly, there was another accident at the junction on Meath Green Lane last week - I hope those involved are okay. There is only a matter of time before a fatality and residents are terrified, like Lucy who I met by chance on Friday. 1/2

I have written again to the Ed Sec. Further inaction risks the government being complicit. 4/4

I expect further sickening revelations in the national media in the coming months. It is now morally indefensible for the government to proceed with reducing children’s legal protections in favour of these local authorities. 3/4

To my knowledge no one has been fired or held accountable. I have also given her evidence of an epidemic of avoidable SEND child suicide caused by public authority negligence, including by some of these same local authorities. 2/4

The Education Secretary has described the sickening revelations from a SEND local authority whistleblower broadcast by ITV as “completely unacceptable”. Yet I have supplied her with similar evidence of widespread local authority misconduct, some possibly criminal, for over a year. 1/4

This corroborates some of over 1200 family testimonies that I have received related to council misconduct across 134 local authorities. It is staggering that the government is seeking to reduce children’s legal SEND rights... 3/5

ITV has broadcast shocking footage of council officer misconduct on SEND. I believe this should be investigated whether it constitutes criminal misconduct in public office. 2/5

The design of the junction on Meath Green Lane was approved by Surrey County Council and subject to their safety audit before it opened. The original planning papers make clear that the junction was always intended for all through traffic (no right/left turns). 1/4
