Missing RIAT, but hey the Coast Guard Helicopter team came along to Herne Bay to say hello. I was supposed to be up in Dony from today but changed my plans and held off for a week.
London Victoria and have an hour to kill, so why not enjoy a £7.25 bottle of cider.
First day in Friedrichshafen done. Some fun and laughter in our hotel bar, with good friends.
The submarine racing has just started. Tides out so they can just get to a depth where the tower thingy just sticks out of the water. Will be better later when tides in.
I have one for the Friday as usual. All will be revealed in 2 weeks time - although I may be on the Icom stand that day too...

Today has been updating website, finally programming my Icom IC-R15 scanner - and still got lots of spare memory on it - and learning what the functions are on my new Nikon Z6 III. Had a play with it and then run through photoshop to get the best result. A great model to work with too.

I can actually hear that locos engine in my head. Hauled by every Deltic back in the day when I was a wee bairn.
Submarine racing back on today. The favourite is Yellow Submarine, but my money is on Nautilus with captain Nemo driving.

Sad to see the news yesterday about a true gentleman in our hobby. I am also happy to have called him a friend. RIP Lada.
