In recent years, I've seen more mega yachts, supported by other mega yachts. All of those owners are from the US. These people keep telling us who they are and it's clear they hate everyone else.
Some melon has been better than others, but overall they're all been great this year. The deal wasn't as good as last week but still good considering the quality.
Also grabbed another bag of this delicious, small purple plums. The fruit and vegetables at the coop are always great.
Picked up more torta verde (with courgettes) at the coop but noticed this potato torte and picked up a piece to try.
Found a pretty good pichade in Menton. I still lean Team Pisciadela though I'd buy this pichade again.
Replenished my fig supply and added nectarines as well since everyone said they're so good. Obviously I also grabbed more apricots.
La Place de la Concorde in Paris is going to look great by 2030. More trees would be a good upgrade but making it a functional space for people over cars is a great start. It used to be a hellhole clogged with polluting/noisy cars.
One of the friendly neighbors brought over some tomatoes from his garden. They were excellent!
The French customs ship arrived and suddenly the mega yachts moved away. The yachts also moved away from the Russian one, probably for good reason.
Apricot season has been excellent this year. Seems like it's up and down every year because of the climate but the fruit thus this year has been great.
Struck gold this morning at the market. Beautiful figs, perfectly ripe.

Before Mitterrand these beautiful paths along the sea were mostly restricted to the guys who own mega yachts. Now everyone has access, as it should be.

My Italian neighbor used to sail to the island of Pantelleria where this salad originated. I made it myself today for a walk around Cap Martin. It's vegan so everyone can eat it.

One time I made the mistake of asking for pichade. Now I know this is pisciadela! So good.
Was surprised to see sweet corn at the marché de la Libération so grabbed a few. It's from a farmer in the hills of Saint Jeannet.
