My beloved cat Theodora passed away a few weeks ago, and the kind of bond that we had was one of the most profound I've ever experienced. She was my constant companion. I respect that cats aren't to everyone's preference, but they are incredibly loving creatures. She was everything to me.
Post a meme made by you. This one is hyper specific, but it was a big tragedy when it happened. I'll never forget the looks on the students' faces when they found out how much a bottle goes for and that it's reusable. The professor who told them to toss it retired at the end of that semester.
After Theodora passed, the doctor wanted to make a paw print for me. Her front paw kept smudging, but she offered to try again. She was gone for a while. When she finally returned, she handed me a pile of prints and said that the whole staff had wanted to make them from all of Theo's paws.
Theodora Maliga passed away peacefully this afternoon at the age of 20. I've been administering at home care for her for the past few weeks as her kidney disease progressed. This weekend her condition declined sharply and it became clear that she was at the end.
Theodora was hospitalized on Friday due to her kidney disease progressing. After three nights, she had improved to the point that it was safe for me to take her home and begin treatment where she's comfortable. I am so grateful to everyone who has supported her and especially the staff at the MSPCA.
