Ads never create value for the player. Full stop. So clearly Xbox isn’t starting with the player. Also, players don’t expect ads before their games.
Xbox is testing showing ads before streaming games. Xbox’s reasoning for it is bullshit. One, ads don’t lower the cost, they just shift it. Watching an ad isn’t free. It robs you of your time. Your literal life.
