So sweet and wonderful to read my poetry last week alongside so many lovely people for the Seneca Review, at Two Goats Brewing on the shore of Seneca Lake!

A summer afternoon trimming some blackberry bushes in the backyard, followed by reviewing the proofs of my prose poem, "A Bee Lands a Yellow Violet Sags," soon to appear in the beautiful @ettereview.bsky.social !

A midnight IMAX showing of The Odyssey, a rip-roaring re-telling, for this contemporary moment, of that most durable of stories. Christopher Nolan did a great job and Matt Damon was a compelling Odysseus. That Cyclops made me wanna burrow out of the theater through the bottom of my recliner.
