Coming off a long 24 hr shift after a long 2 weeks of nights. If you go Sunday to Sunday, may have worked 113 hours this week. 😅 But now we on PTO, so FUCK IT, we ball! No sleep needed, only coffee. ☕️

Beautiful day here called for a quick hike. Went and did a nice loop trail just outside of town. Offers beautiful scenery including a walk along a creek, rocky bluffs, a calm lake/dam, and a (somewhat spooky) tunnel… I’m not afraid of bats, you are! 😬

Another year older and turning the big “dirty 30”. Woke up with a kink in my neck, so my body is already falling apart. Had a blast hiking with friends and got to spend most of the day with them yesterday to welcome my thirties. So here’s to thirty and hopefully the start of a good decade! 😄

Have time off this week and my parents came out to visit. Got to spend some quality time with them including a little hiking. Left my heart feeling fuller. ❤️ Then right after they left got a call for a delivery. Not the ideal way to spend PTO, but love that I get to do what I do. 👶 So sleepy now 😴

Didn’t feel like getting out of bed today but ended up having a hankering to bake. Threw together a quick coffee cake with blueberries and made some bomb coffee. How’s everyone else’s Saturday starting off?

Just finished a little home workout. Trying to get back into the swing of weightlifting after falling away from it for some time. Never been the best at it. Anyone want to help with motivation? Or have any advice for quick home workouts?

I feel like the intersection of these maps is important for understanding my living preferences. I am not the most well traveled and have lived in the Midwest my whole life. Gotta give a shout out to the "fly over" states though since I still would choose to live here all over again. 💕

States I've visited or lived. Lived in Iowa, MN, and SD. Visited Idaho, Wyoming, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Illinois, and Wisconsin.

So eepy sleepy. Just finished a 20 hour day with 88 hours total worked this week. Only one more 24 left before I’m off nights and back to a more normal schedule. Can’t wait! Happy belated Turkey Day everybody! 🦃

Been a productive weekend of cooking/baking so far. Made some scones yesterday for the first time that turned out really tasty then made baked oatmeal this morning. Got a crock pot full of chili going and making cornbread later. 😋 Boyfriend applications are open. Please apply within. 😂

Northern Lights were visible where I live. Went out to try and capture some good photos of them cuz I’ve never been able to spot them before. First 2 photos are mine. Didn’t look the best with my crummy phone camera. Last 2 are from some friends. Beautiful sight! 😄

Made lemon bars for the first time and they actually turned out pretty good! 😋 Though I will say whoever decided to pair squeezing lemon juice with zesting and cutting lemons was sick and twisted (may have gotten a few cuts).
