I love this poem and this is One of the most beautiful versions i have ever seen. Every good bookshop should stock it
The Grove Bookshop, Ilkley, Yorkshire took delivery of the first 3 books of tales - I think they do mail order - but if you’re close enough to go to Ilkley then do visit the shop - it’s seriously lovely - copies also available at The Portico Library Shop Manchester and Limestone Books, Settle.
I signed and posted this lot and now my hand hurts …. last 40 signed and numbered copies at www.mikeharding.co.uk
6 months working on Vol 3 of the short story books will be published June 15th. 7 stories set in Ireland and among the Irish in the UK . Signed numbered limited edition of 250 copies can be pre-ordered here: www.mikeharding.co.uk. I’m going to have a Guinness June 14th so I can lick all the stamps
The simple answer is: a press owned by men and women who wanted us out of Europe and who want to move this country so far to the right that democracy as we know it will die. The Tech/ Crypto kings want to destroy the BBC, the NHS and will tell you Reform are your only way forward. They gaslight us.
Lest we forget - the man who hissed “Gas em all…” at young Jewish schoolboys.
Farage hailed Orban once as ‘an even bigger threat to the EU than me!’ What’s the collective noun for a pair of shits anybody? They are both, of course, Putin’s oldest chums and Farage has been notably silent about Ukraine compared to other politicians.
Just a minute! I thought that Brexit meant we had taken back control? Where’s Boris The Fridge Magnet when we need him?
Farage hasn’t a midge’s dick of humanity in him. Seriously damaged as a child, obviously, but an obvious danger to GB democracy ( and common goodness and empathy)
Think you’ll be safe on the streets if The Lizard King gets into No 10? Wormtongue, like his master, won’t be happy until he has his own GB ICE out on the streets. Don’t believe me? If you’d told Minnesota there would be state murder on their streets a year ago they wouldn’t have believed you.
Lewader of a party that could fit all its elected MPs (not ex-Tories) in a family saloon is going to talk to America. Who the fuck does the Lizard King think he is/
How come there has been no enquiry into The Lizard King’s new house? If a Labour MP had juggled close on a million squids it would have been all over the press and the Yellow Dogs braying for blood would have been heard as far away as Greenland.
I disagree with this man on many many levels but this is one of the times he proved to be absolutely right in his understanding of the currents of fascism that still ran through Britain and produced people like Farage, T Robinson and Enoch Powell. Bad, bad people.
Lest we forget. Robert Jenrick, the Tory defector and new chum of Nigel the jew-baiter, had a mural of Mickey Mouse at a refugee centre painted over. It had been put there to help calm the children as they arrived at the place.
I’d forgotten this lovely little book - sadly now withdrawn from public sale and from all the libraries. I must have one of the few copies left
Just signed the first 100. They’ll be available from the website from Midnight Thursday.
First copies arriving with me tomorrow - I’ll try and post up website shop details by Friday. Its edition limited to 250 signed and numbered copies. Meanwhile tickets are still available for the official launch Portico Library Manchester 18th Dec.
Look at the cold, dead eyes. The world seems to be mostly run by madmen and looking back through history it seems nothing new. From Genghis Kahn to Trump, from Nero to Reagan. Boris Johnson to Pol Pot. Lunatics, Liars and Psychopaths every one.
I've been in France working on final edits of the next book of short stories -- should have signed, numbered, first ed. copies to sell online by late Nov. Im signing copies at The Portico Library, Manchester on the evening of December 18th. Early doors.
