while not all the materials are set up here its rather interesting to see it all from a new perspective, isnt it? a lot of work goes into making maps this big, its very commendable ok ill put back on the nerd glasses and leave now
if you plug in both textures/materials and mix them in by making it so the green blends into Lawn_B and red blends into Lawn_A you get seamless texture blending, this is used all over the map, and in some cases up to four times on one mesh.
hey guys it me the person did you know that xenoblade maps blend together different materials via color attributes? for example, "ma05a_ViewLawnA_ma05a_ViewLawnB" it blends between the ViewLawnA and ViewLawnB material using the colors on the mesh, seen here. (ma05a is the internal name for Gormott)
