I was looking for a beef roast at Costco, but the prices are outrageous. Rib eye roast was $17/lb and prime rib roast was $23/lb. The cheapest roast was 4.5lbs for $77. This is Trump's idea of affordability.

We a couple of covies of Gambel's Quail in our neighborhood. According to Merlin's Bird app this is unusual.

Nice pic of the female Greater Roadrunner in our neighborhood. She is snapping up meal worms. Her mate is much larger and offered her a big fat lizard last weekto start their family. I now see them paired up and running together.
