I made chocolate chip cookies, except I used mini M&Ms. It looks like fireworks in a cookie. And yes, the are delicious.

It was on the bay at Candlestick Point. All gone now. Pic from PICRYL. TV guide in 84 when the All Star game was about to take place did a story on the winds. It said a guy on the field grabbed a handful of grass off the field, threw it in the air, and it went in every direction. Yikes.

This was my MIL's cookbook. It was given to her at her bridal shower in 1950. It was published 1n 1946. I bet it has a few winners in it.
From 1983- Fred Bird at old Busch Stadium, the stadium from the top pf the Arch, and Grant's Cabin on the Busch Estate, where they raise the Clydesdales. Yes, we got to see them close up. My aunt used to get us really good tickets to games.
It was an overall look at what Japanese Americans went through during WWII. It won a local Emmy. I didn't belong to the Academy, and I reused to pay $100 to get a statue, I settled for a certificate.
I did this for my son when he was born. I did a merry go round for my daughter. This type of embroidery is called crewel. And it is.
I had one when I was a kid, My last two were black, and the last one deserted me for my daughter when she was 10. hrumph. She was not all there, one day I was putting groceries away and turned back to the fridge with this staring at me.
