Something like this. You basically just get a long piece of wood to fill in the gap left by the indoor unit's... window thingy. Sorry for not being clear, I'm sick atm 🥴
The tricky part of doing that with cooling devices is that they operate by taking the hot and putting it someplace else. Window units make that easy by pumping all the hot out of the outside part. Rolly units with the tube(s) that vent(s) out the windows work by having a hose or two.
