New cast! I’m in this one for another month, but I am allowed to put any weight on it. No walking, but this is progress. I’m elevating it because it’s tighter than the last and I was swelling some, but I have a guardian.

I'm having kind of a rough time of it. At the appointment on Friday they discovered that it's not just one bone broken, it's two. Wait, whoops, three. I'm still completely non weight bearing, and now they're talking surgery and yeah. This really sucks. Anyway, here's Blizzara being a pillow.
Bubbles has no idea what’s happening but is delighted I’m mostly stuck in bed.
Blizzara is keeping me company today. Every time I move a little she purrs louder. 😍
Managed to get an appointment to replace the ER splint with a better one and whew that’s so much better. Before and after.

Being adorable is how Vanta gets away with it! This cat opens zippers and pulls out drawers to steal things. She will yoink something from an allegedly secure place, come and dance in front of me with it in her little mouth, and then scamper away. Crime. Cat.
Vanta, on the other hand, loves crime. She has stolen SO many things. Hair ties, lip balm, a small purse, daily pill boxes, necklaces, pens, and another bag of treats. I am confident in the guilty verdict.
To be fair, there are three other cats here. However, Blizzy doesn’t care about treats at all, Bubbles isn’t spry enough to get up where the treats were and is way too dumb to open the bag, and Void may have participated in looting but not the snatch and grab.
Ok, so, I have a picture of the hat but it is on someone and I don't want to post them without permission. So instead, the costume I based the hat on - the hat is basically a smaller version of this (this thing is effectively Cislyn sized)
😂 I can do that. When I grabbed the bandaid I didn’t notice it was hello kitty, and I have ZERO idea how these got into my first aid kit
I still need to figure out what to do with this. This is a hexagonal fossil table top, and the epoxy coating has mostly come off and is gross. It’s from my dad (of course), but I don’t have a base for it or know how to spiff it up again.
Oh good these should be swapped at least most of the sticker labels fell off so I can’t tell which thing goes where! 😫 A sensible person would have noticed before now. Ah well!
The Ottoman Empire expands to my porch. And the egg chair progresses, with quite a lot of cussing and balancing things on my head.
Project: Make the Porch Nice continues. Today, ottomans (ottomen?) and at least one chair. The ratcheting hex wrench set is saving me. Also I get to be quietly happy about casting hexes all day.

My dad used to give me geodes for me to smash open in my Easter basket, wrapped up like eggs. He had a lovely collection and I definitely picked up the love for shinies from him.
