The Expanse (full series) It was a real surprise for me over this past year. Is it the greatest thing? No! Does it have moments where it elevates itself so much above what a sci-fi tv show should be capable of? Yes! Really fun series and can't wait to read the books now.

JJK Season 3 Talk about an adaptation raising the level of its source material. Culling Game always felt like a weird swerve for the series after Shibuya but watching through this reminded me how much good soup there is in this section. Absolutely brilliant.

Spiderman Brand New Day A film that cements to me that Tom Holland might be the best onscreen Spidey. Probably the best MCU film since Endgame. Spiderman is exactly where he’s meant to be finally.

Halo 3: ODST A "side story" but the game so far with the most "sauce". Its doing things the others didn't with its atmosphere and the narrative work at play. Every level is a banger and while the plot gets...bad...its a really snappy experience. Bungie Halo at its best.

Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz A perfect epilogue for the series that fills in much of the gaps that were missing. The the main characters get so much backstory in this was welcome and the action is incredible. Movie pacing hurts the plot on some areas but a lovely final course for the series

Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Nonsensical for most of its airtime Wing earns its keep in its final act where the pieces slide into place on a satisfying way. There is a huge amount of charm in its melodrama and has one of my favorite villains in the series so far.

The Odyssey Loved the spectacle, the cinematography, Nolan creating a world that feels mystical and grounded in its own ways. Really reframed some of the ideas I had around this story as it had been a long time since I’d read it originally.

Halo 2: Anniversary Straight improvement in pacing and gameplay from the first game. Was surprised by how the campaign actually got into some heavy hitting themes. These games have really caught me off guard in that respect.

007 First Light IOI marrying the Hitman WoA gameplay to the 007 license was always going to be a smash hit. However, they also showed they could deliver an excellent narrative experience that captures the core pieces of the character. Took a bit to convince me, but now am totally onboard

Mobile Suit Gundam Rough around the edges but its the OG Gundam for a reason. It offers some of the less represented aspects of war, delves into complex issues like how it affects children, families amongst others. Struggles with pacing in the middle but it has its share of highlights

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown A gorgeous flight sim with an OST that is out of this world. Unfortunately, I just don't think the gameplay ever really meshed with me and the frustrating checkpointing didn't feel very respectful of my time. So was pretty ok putting this one down.
