We gathered today to recognize Freedom Rider Henry “Hank” Thomas and unveil the next marker on the Jacksonville U.S. Civil Rights Trail. It’s all part of the Jacksonville Legacy Project, which recognizes people, places, and events that made local, state, and national history.

Big news from our ACPS and JaxParks teams🐾 Our 7th dog park is officially open! The Forest Street Dog Park is located on the ACPS campus at 2020 Forest St. and is open to everyone. ACPS also debuted two new cat adoption rooms - Bold Kitty Café and the Kona Kat Park. Keep up the good work!
