Beginning Tuesday, June 30, NE 1st Street at Russell M Perry Avenue will temporarily close to install a water line at 330 NE 1st Street. All affected parties will still have access in and out using Central Avenue. The closure is anticipated to last through Friday, July 10.

What a week. We officially opened the $19 million MAPS 4 Diversion Hub. This 35,575 sq. ft. facility will provide comprehensive services as people navigate and exit the legal system. Mayor Holt called it a "national model" for altering the trajectory of lives in crisis.

Several online City services will be offline starting at 6 p.m. June 25 and will be restored by 8 a.m. June 29. You will not be able to: - Submit permits, fees or licenses. - Submit Action Center requests via okc.gov or the app. - Access the response tracker. - Schedule inspections online.

Your map app may be recalculating now that the May Avenue bridge over NW Expressway is gone, but not to fear. Temporary signals are in place to direct drivers to divert from May Avenue. Please drive carefully through the work zone.

NW 23rd Street Streetscape update: Western Avenue is temporarily closed at NW 23rd Street while crews install a sanitary sewer and water line. Drivers can still access NW 23rd, but the lanes are narrowed.

Tell me why, starting tomorrow (June 18) at 10 a.m., May Avenue traffic at NW Expressway will be diverted to the temporary detour. It's because major changes are underway, including the bridge's removal. Drivers, use extra caution. Let's all practice patience as this construction takes place.
