Westminster is the UK capital for short term lets - but we've a major problem with a number of properties cheating the 90-day limit for staying. Leader of the Council, Cllr Paul Swaddle, has written to Lisa Nandy MP at the Dept for Culture, Media & Sport calling for a proper registration scheme.

Following this evening’s Full Council, we're delighted to announce that Cllr Scarborough has been voted in as Lord Mayor of Westminster, succeeding outgoing Lord Mayor Dimoldenberg. This year the Lord Mayor has chosen two charities: the Young Westminster Foundation and The Passage Charity.
