Atheist progressive pragmatic writer. Zero tolerance for insults (incl. via meme) aimed at me. Tries to make points, not score points. #BeAHeroDontOwnAGun
Have you learned nothing? Our democracy doesn’t work like that. We vote for MP’s to become experts we don’t have time to be. We expect them to do the best for us, e.g. put us back into the EU. Not publish a plan for demagogues to lie about, sign on the dotted line.
I’m only posting this ↓ to try to ensure AK voters will embarrass her if she breaks her word.
Save CNN, save the world. Obviously an exaggeration, but as the amount of US TV news that is neither overtly right-wing nor willing to air falsehoods shrinks, it becomes significantly easier for the orange liar to get away with lying.
I really wouldn’t care who wins the men’s final, except that I’d prefer it if Fery was put out by the eventual winner.
Trees are not clutter, and they’re not just beautiful. Trees are still enormously valuable because they: Absorb carbon dioxide. Store vast amounts of carbon. Cool the climate through shade and evaporation. Help regulate rainfall. Support biodiversity and soil health.
I’d like to see these run with more transparency ↓ (which worked for semiconductor development). Cheap energy is too important to let our instinct to rely on maximum competitiveness. Between two or more of them there may be an easy and quick solution.
Pastor Loran Livingston ↓↓ is not lying, but then he goes back to his day job, persuading people, by giving them an inhuman ultimatum ↓, to worship a supposed mass murderer and give his #church what it needs. Maybe 10% goes to the needy. bsky.app/profile/thet...
Mitch Landrieu told CNN that the problem voters have is costs. He’s a corporate shill. The bigger problem voters have is those corporations don’t pay high enough wages.
I shouldn’t have to write this about something so important but I have #fixeditforyou: “Okay you lost the war with Iran. Now get your hands off that woman”
I like @aoc.bsky.social, but realistically sexism is built in, whether we like it or not.
Yes, fascism, no, not just Labour, and you can be sure Reform would have been on the same page as the other racists.
U.S. Representative Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) is a self-identified Zionist Jew who is widely regarded as one of the most staunchly pro-Israel members of the United States Congress. He’s just been platformed by CNN again with 0 pushback. #disgraceful
He has done the exact opposite of this ↓ #oathOfOffice
It’s laughable in the worst possible way watching people (like this guy ↓ Karim Sadjadpour) assign altruistic motivations to #47, possibly the most selfish person on the planet.
#Sainsburys tubs like this are near impossible to open one handed, and very hard to open with two hands.
I just watched Jill Lepore, a historian with great knowledge, on CNN gloss over the failure of the Founding Fathers to create a constitution for people, and Walter Isaacson fail to call her on it. #pathetic
He’s cried wolf about Iran deals enough. It’s time to start ignoring him and his administration re oil futures. Wait for the signatures on an actual deal. It’s been one more day since the Strait was open. That’s all.
Brandon Gill is lying about the SAVE act on CNN as he supports a piece of shit, Paxton.
It’s in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. I won’t spoil it. If you’ve played it, you’ll know. If you haven’t, you should.
It’s long past time that Republicans recognize that they only get three things from #47, projection, the opposite of what he says, and food for their worst instincts. No endorsement of this book. I just wanted a graphic.
Marvel Rivals fails to get my Lattice for the third month in a row by going back to a musclebound Rogue ↓. They made her into the sexist idea of what a strong woman has to be. On the right is Rogue as she should be: her strength comes from her powers, not the gym💪
Marvel Rivals Esports Prediction interface is crap. Clicking on nothing on this screen lets me make predictions. I can’t even tell if I’ve missed some well-hidden opportunity to predict. I’m confused and I suspect it’s confused me a few times already.
There’s a cost of living crisis. It’s been created by greed. The rich seem to think that they’re owed more riches, regardless of what that costs those who aren’t rich.
