North Lancs, UK. Allotments, cocktails, being kind to each other.
Your street is the kind where this (photo evidence ) is the type of 'morning after' aftermath that needs clearing up 🩷❤️🧡
If you're in the Lancaster (NW England) area, come to our bug hunt this Saturday to count and identify invertebrates and other wildlife. With our friends from @northlancswildlife.bsky.social
Bought a new rug in an auction. It's lovely. I put it down on the floor and the first thing the cat does is try and sharpen her claws on it. I can see where this is heading.
#wildflowerhour in the #Yorkshiredales, beautiful meadows of buttercups, clover, mous ear(? Small white, star-like?)
I've had to take off the bracelet that my mum gave me because it was making me hungry. It is made out of bits of clay.
Who needs #ChelseaFlowerShow when I've got my own front garden patch in the twilight gloom? 😄
Every year something new catches my eye in the @unilancashire.bsky.social 's campus. This year it's the lovely irises.
I've just finished digitising my dad's old slides. It was a fabulous day.
I found this perfect dandelion flower growing beautifully through a hole in a banana box at my allotment. 🧡
I'm on the Ground floor of John Lewis. "A handbag and a man please"
More NT wooden carving. I loved the Grinling Gibbons carvings at Petworth House last year.
Daffodils and leeks from the allotment on St David's day, how apt ❤️

My little cat Bluebell died today 💚😢 this is a photo of her alive in happier times
Awww I walked outside and there's a beautiful smattering of snow and a lovely moon in the sky. I know it's not LOADS of snow but NW coastal England, you know...
Happy winter solstice everyone. This photo is from 2 years ago when, Stonehenge style, the sun appeared at midday through the gap between the neighbours houses across the road. Wooh!
