#addbirder #birds #usbirdsv🪶 Hubby & I love birds. We are unsure what the fellow sleeping on the hummingbird feeder is. It looks to big to be a goldfinch and doesn’t look like the other house finch fledglings. Would love some help identifying who are little visiter is. Thanks!

Sleeping brown bird with creamy brown strips on edge of wing feathers and longer tail. It is sleeping on a red hummingbird feeder that looks like a hot air ballon. It is bigger than a goldfinch but doesn’t look like the house finch fledglings that have been visiting the yard.

@peculiarityshop.bsky.social Received my ring & earrings. They exceeded my expectations. I purchased the ring to wear w/my wedding gift from my hubby. The ring was missing, but I have the Chinese filigree earrings, brooch, & bracelet. The earrings are amazing. Stunning. So happy!

Where in my statement do you find that sentiment? It’s not there.

There is a post from Ted Lieu stating: 6 million newish people were murdered during the Holocaust. On Yom HaShoah, we honor their memory.
It is our responsibility to fight back against antisemitism, violence, and hatred in all forms. Never again.
My response was: What about Gaza, Ted? Nothing? Seems some there is a hatred you will or look away. We don’t honor the memory of the dead when we still kill citizens with cruel impunity.

It is!! The most surprising was the Clematis Clearwing Moth. The larvae feed on the roots, so some of my Virgin Bower (American Clematis) has died back, but totally worth it to see the moth. Friend got the pics.

Broad green leaves, and what looks like a wooden stem, but is part of the structure supporting the vine, has a small Clematis Clearwing Moth sitting upon it trying to attract a mate. It has school bus yellow legs, antennae, and a skinny protrusion emerging from its lower abdomen. Body and wings are more black.

Couldn’t find a picture of a metallic green bee, but we have plenty in our yard. Love them! We just got our first visitation from Rusty Patch Bumblebees. We’ve been planting native plants, shrubs, & a few native trees in our small quarter acre small-town lot. If you plant it, they will come.

We were visited by the Rusty Patch Bumble Bee. It loved the mountain mint we planted. I cried, I was so happy.

There is a rusty patch bumble bee pictured from the side on mountain mint. The bee is black and yellow with a rusty brown streak you can see under its wings. The flower is comprised of light green circle discs with little, trumpet-shaped white flowers. There is a bunch of them that the bumble bee is feeding on. There are thin green leaves and two small discs on the right side of the picture.

Seldom happens, but I had all four cats loving me up. The kitty in the harness is Remus. He’s our ADHD kitty and nothing but attitude, but he’s such a lover.

He is right & shouldn’t have removed his statement. Our news orgs have, for the most part, failed us. Most organizations are bending a knee to the oligarchy & global corporations instead of shining a bright light into all the grift and cruelty that makes up the powerful elite in this world & US.

I’m tired of the Democratic Party using scare tactics & now guilt to raise money. If the party is having difficulties, perhaps they should examine their stances on a number of issues: from the genocide in Gaza to the disappearance of students from our nation’s streets & so much more.

“I just can’t. Dems are truly lost if they think I’ll give money considering most Democratic elected officials aren’t fighting trump in any way but words. Time for Schumer to pitch in considering how much he gave away.

I’m watching innocent people being disappeared from our nation’s street[s]. That’s happening because Dems supported and continue to support the genocide in Gaza, which is spreading to the West Bank and Syria. I don’t have any more hope, trust, or money to give.”

I just finished watching Flow and it was riveting. The story, told with no dialogue, was beautifully rendered using free & open-source software. A very mesmerizing 85 minutes. Highly recommend.

Our kitty that is on Prozac, prescription kidney food, and marked when upset, has finally stopped altogether. We have balance in the house. Remus is the white & grey kitty.

Remus, gray & white kitty, and Pris are not very close. It’s surprising they curled up together.

I suffer from chronic migraine. These lovely creatures always make sure I have the support I need. My hubby, son, and wonderful four-legged friends have gotten me through many a bad day.

You see a bed from the perspective of the person lying in it. There is a grayish blue quilt with a cream nature motif. There is a red fawn greyhound lying at the foot of the bed. An orange tabby is stretched out close to the top of the person. A gray kitty is lying on the person’s lap. A dark tabby is curled up and lying close to the person’s knees. You can just see snippets of an vintage, almost antique, chair with gold mohair fabric and a bird’s eye maple dresser. The floor is wood and the walls a vivid dark blue.
