An evening of nightmare javascript, but I can now avoid groups that have AI posters and support bad actors. (once i catch them and add them to my list. ) Quick and dirty local firefox extension.
Not technically a crate. But does suspending the DJ on a small platform over the edge of a skyscraper count?
That was my camper van 200 miles from home this weekend. Best of luck and hope it's not too expensive.
It may be cheesy. But it must be done. Also. Cool rock and shell piece haul.
VRChat will never move to Unreal Engine. Epic were thinking ahead with this one.
Getting the urge to play OSRS again... Time to crack out my RS style Unreal project to scratch the itch.
Following a bit of advice from @happyrobot33.bsky.social in their awesome talk about VRC drones. No need for backfaces, so 2D looks way better!
Just turn the controller into a DMX fixture :P (getting the midi out to this thing was an actual nightmare. But at least it's done)
On a fun case of world optimization. Working on our new venue we found one (1) shadowcasting light that claimed to be baked, adding literally millions of polys and hundreds of batches... Probably my lack of skill with Unity, but silly stuff like this always catches people out.
The MDMX drones are almost ready for prime time. My pc won't handle live animating from blender so I've written a tool to generate the point clouds and render the timeline to a MDMX video file. Means I could even make these for other VJs to use in the future. Now to work on colour.
480 Individually addressable drones run though Binary DMX. Need to optimize the CRTs and add smoothing and a whole bunch of other features. But they actually work! I'm so excited to start making mini drone shows for events :D #VRChat #DMX #DroneShow #VRCEvents
Buy a custom painted binder from my wife! (USA only for now)
Made some massive updates to my UV generator tool. The most requested feature was drag positioning and scaling and it's done, at least in its most basic form :D I want to add handles to the edge of each slice so you can scale in a single direction. I've basically made crappy photoshop at this point.
SEREN UV now has a rudimentary ability to export to Resolume XML files. I don't use Resolume myself so if anyone has feedback on the feature please let me know! seren.club/UVEditor/
Sidequesting today. I've made a tool that lets you generate UV templates for screen mapping. (Mainly for VRChat clubs) Theres more to be added, but it's functional and decently feature complete. Always happy to take suggestions if people have them. seren.club/UVEditor/
Unreal has a few "good" ones... I'm sure there are more these are the two that come to mind.
