NYC apartment resident here. I adopted a practice of not putting t-shirts in the dryer and so used to bring a lot of stuff up from laundry room and have it take over the bathroom and then I got the cadillac of folding drying racks and it’s such a delight.

Ok in giving the @nytimes credit where credit is due. This is real time, play by play of a NYC protest which is something I remembering being sorely lacking in other critical moments.

Thousands of anti-Trump demonstrators gathered at the corner of Fifth Avenue and East 60th Street in Manhattan, flying U.S. flags, some of them upside down to signify distress. Rallying under the golden equestrian statue of Union Army General William Tecumseh Sherman, they held signs saying, “No War on Venezuela,” “No ICE/No Kings,” and “Trump Must Go Now.”

Susan Meyer, 82, a physical therapist who lives in Manhattan, arrived with a sign around her neck that read, “REMEMBER RENEE AND ALL ICE VICTIMS.” Her sign was referring to Renee Good, the woman shot and killed by an ICE agent last week in Minneapolis.

Just pure evil. No other word to use.

Agents arrested a blind man and took him to 26 Federal Plaza. They later called his son saying they would release his father if he surrendered to them, and when the son arrived, they arrested him as well, according to legal filings reviewed by THE CITY. ICE detained both men for several days, transferring the father to a jail in Orange County and son to Delaney Hall in Newark, before releasing the father, the New York Times reported. His son is still in custody.
