When I put this #FamilyHistory photo into a bite-sized #Genealogy book, I had to explain to younger folks about the use of the intricately crocheted antimacassar on the back of the couch, behind the heads. Remember antimacassars?!
As a break from researching ancestors, I assembled this fanciful sunset puzzle of a cove with a narrow beach. Some sea gulls but no people, no kitties, no puppies.

#Genealogy #SNGF My husband's grandfather bought a new 1917 Ford Model T and drove the family from Cleveland, Ohio to Chicago, Illinois in the summer of 1917. The family nicknamed the car "the flivver" because they had to pump up the tires or otherwise fix the car every other day. #FamilyHistory
This was a lovely, peaceful puzzle to assemble, featuring a rustic log lodge and a full moon over the lake.
