Thrilled our paper with @zephoria.bsky.social (in the works since 2022!) is accepted at #CHI2026. In the paper, we look at how “fake” state data perform institutional work, tracing how fakeness gets produced and de/stabilized inside of the Chinese and US bureaucracy. arxiv.org/abs/2602.10944

Every time I worried that I am not writing fast enough so people would already been debunked about Chinese social credit system and nobody would care about my work when it is out, this kind of tweet emerged. I feel very comfortable keep procrastinating now.
