[Old newspaper] STRANGE OCCURRENCE IN SHROPSHIRE. A correspondent writes: Visiting the woods near Eilesmere today, the scene of the recent remarkable occurences, which have caused a profound sensation, I found the farm deserted by the farmer, Mr. Hampson, and his family, the house being partially wrecked and undergoing renovation. The front windows of the house are all broken and the farmyard strewn with fragments and debris. The police are investigating the matter, but no explanation of the mysterious affair is yet forthcoming, though it is feared some explosive material intermixed with the coal.
