Spending my lunch watching this young bird try to fly for the first time. It figured out hopping, but can’t quite get flying.
Hello, friend. I see you’ve taken residence in my detached garage. Feel free to feast on all the bugs you want in there.
One of these days I will learn to properly flip and fold an omelette. Today is not that day.
This little moth was trying to find shelter from the rain. It picked a rather good looking umbrella.
Attended a Royals/Rangers series in 2016 in Arlington. The “old” stadium was nice and I didn’t overheat even if it was 95°+. Also, was like 20 feet away from Cheslor Cuthbert embarrassingly whiffing on a pop up to third. Good times.
Ope, would you look at that. You overate and now you need to rest. (Please ignore the dead weed stocks I haven’t cleared. Many different birds like perching there, so I leave them… at least that’s how I excuse my laziness)
Buddy, I have multiple hummingbird feeders out just for you. If you want to eat Great Value grape jelly I got on sale, that’s up to you.
Beautiful evening. Couldn’t ask for a more comfortable late May evening. Sitting on my back porch listening to the gentle ringing of wind chimes and all the different birds singing their songs.
Most of the orioles have moved on and the jelly I put out has gone mostly uneaten. However, woke up to some new critter feasting on what was left behind.
Planted this peony a couple years ago. First year that it has opened. Startled me with the colors when I first saw it this evening.
Bad news: critters have treated the flowers I planted a couple weeks ago as a $200 buffet that I paid for.
Want to shoutout Nemik on this May the 4th. A real one, gone too soon. Crushed by a shit ton of imperial credits. “Try.”
Gas being $4/gal has made me reconsider my relationship with the button that automatically turns the engine off at stop signs.
Was busy this morning getting my flowerbed in shape. Glad to get in the ground before the rain. Still got another flowerbed to get done. Next weekend?
