In the c. a year since his election as leader, we’ve - c. quadrupled our membership - c. tripled our vote share - had the largest ever increase in our councillors Genuinely cannot see how the other contenders for leadership would have come anywhere close to that. open.substack.com/pub/colinboy...

And we very much need to see where Burnham stands on this act of blatant discrimination.
I would describe myself as a Green rather than an eco-socialist, but the result was unsurprising because the economy questions only really allow for socialist vs neoliberal answers / don’t take account of the Green economic model.
And the Greens were consistent in offering a different, hopeful vision.
Nope. Even if we put aside the moral questions around extreme wealth, the world itself cannot sustain the lifestyles of individuals whose wealth is multi tens of millions+ £s.

Building on from my review of the Greens stepped up to become a real national contender in 2025, here's the first part of my review of the inner workings of the party. open.substack.com/pub/colinboy...
A brilliant team who have worked so hard for Southwark in 2025 - am looking forward to supporting them in 2026!
