Today’s walk at Lincoln Park was set to The Smiths and I am still mad at Morrissey for writing the garbage lyric that is “Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others” to a gorgeous piece of Johnny Marr music and putting it at the end of “The Queen is Dead” as opposed to “There Is A Light That Never Goes Out”.
I usually walk along and around Lincoln Park after taking the kids to daycare and pop a record in my ears to distract my brain (R.E.M.’s “New Adventures In Hi-Fi was today’s choice) and reduce the cortisol levels. Serenity now.
